2025-26 Information
Compete against other clubs from across Canada
Focused on performance and reaching your full potential both individually and as a team. Local games provide cost-effective opportunities for development and team growth, while out-of-province competitions, usually around 3-5 times per season, enable us to measure our progress as individuals and as a team against some of the top programs across Canada.
Athletes are expected to attend all practices, games, and events, give their best effort, take responsibility, support their teammates, and embrace a growth mindset.
If unable to attend a practice or event, athletes must communicate with their coaches in advance.
Growth Mindset - The belief that abilities can be developed through dedication, effective strategies, consistent habits, and feedback from others.
16U: born in 2010-2011 (plus select 2012)
18U: born in 2008-2009 (plus select 2010)
Practices are 5x/week and are held at Pan Am Pool [25 Poseidon Bay, Winnipeg, MB].
First practice is Monday, September 8, 2025.
Practices may occasionally change (time and location) or be cancelled throughout the season due to events (such as swim meets), holidays, or when coaches are away with other teams. When possible, we will always make an effort to organize alternative training opportunities.
The 16U-18U Competitive Program runs from September to May each year.
New to this season: we are asking all athletes to purchase a City of Winnipeg facility membership. This will allow them to access the weight room (we will provide programs and instruction) plus extra pool sessions as needed during public swim times.

Compete in Water Polo Canada's National Championship League (NCL) for 16U and 18U plus other events.
After registration, we will identifying which events to enter. This process will involve reviewing our team numbers as well as having conversations with you—the families—about your athlete’s availability, resources, and motivation to compete at the highest level in Canada.
The registration deadline for NCL is October 10, 2025. This gives us a few weeks after training begins to discuss our competitive calendar. Please note that these are only the NCL dates (plus 2 other events) and not our complete or final competition schedule as this will largely be determined after we collect registrations and have time to meet with all of you.
Please check the registration page.
