Competitive Water Polo Camp: 18U August 26-30, 2024
Updates
- University of Toronto Water Polo goalie will attend and work directly with the goalies
- Athletes from SK, ON and the USA have registered for the camp [the camp is filling up]
- Ten athletes from Ottawa will be travelling with Waneek Horn-Miller as part of an exchange program with Vortex. A group of coaches and athletes from Vortex will go to Ottawa at a later date to train (more details to come but it does involve accessing funding from a federally sponsored program: https://experiencescanada.ca/)
- Extra-curricular activities are being planned for the evenings and the Vortex athletes are encouraged to engage in these events (may include an additional fee)
Who Should Attend
- Athletes in the Competitive Stream who were born in 2007-2010 (2011's can register but must be by invitation or please send a request to the technical director or one of the head coaches)
- Competitive Stream are athletes with experience playing in NCL, 15U Westerns, at out-of-province competitions or are moving up to this level next season.

- August 26-30, 2024
- 9:00 am to 4:30 pm each Day
- Monday to Friday at Pan Am Pool in Winnipeg, Manitoba
- Food and Lodging is the responsibility of each athlete
- Includes 20 hours of pool time (4 hours/day) plus dryland and classroom sessions
- Optional group excursions in the evenings (extra cost)
- Cost = $395/athlete
