Winter Clash 2026

We are excited to announce the upcoming Winter Clash Youth Water Polo League, a local league experience designed to give our athletes the opportunity to compete, learn, and grow right here in our own community.

These local league games are incredibly important to athlete development and they allow players to experience real game situations, build confidence, strengthen teamwork, and develop a deeper understanding of the sport in a fun and supportive environment.

This year, the league will feature three divisions:

  • Rising Stars Division (12U Mixed)
A fun, introductory division focused on learning fundamentals, building confidence, and developing a love of the game.
  • Development Division  (14U Girls & Boys)
Designed for players ready to strengthen skills, improve game understanding, and gain more structured team experience.
  • Premier Division (16U & 18U Girls & Boys)
An inclusive higher-challenge division where recreational and competitive players compete, refine advanced skills, and prepare for the next level of play.

League dates are now set on Sundays at Pan Am Pool:

  • Sunday, February 22
  • Sunday, March 1
  • Sunday, March 15
  • Sunday, April 12 (finals)

Our coaches will form teams from our athlete pool and create an outstanding gameday experience so athletes can enjoy what a real Water Polo league feels like while continuing to develop their skills.

To successfully operate the Winter Clash Youth Water Polo League, we must cover several direct operational costs including pool rentals, lifeguards, referees, equipment, hospitality and awards.

For the first time, the club will need to collect a participation fee to help offset these expenses. We understand that adding another fee is not easy, and we want to acknowledge that we have worked hard to keep this cost as low as possible.

The league also plays an important role in developing our local sport community. It provides opportunities for local referees to practice and advance their officiating skills, and for parents and volunteers to learn the role of minor officials through hands-on training and mentorship (time and score keeping).

As always, all volunteer hours earned during the league will count toward your volunteer bond requirements, making this a great way to contribute to the community while supporting our athletes.

Registration and participation fees are completed in RAMP at the below links:

Registration will close on Thursday, February 12 so that we can publish the schedule and rosters 1-week prior to the first day of games.
